Meet Mrs. HemlerHello. My name is Nicole Bianchi Hemler, for simplicity I have the students call me Mrs. Hemler. I am so excited be be teaching in the Chippewa Valley District. I am even more excited for the opportunity to be teaching at Miami, the elementary school I attended as a student years ago.

I have been involved with this district for a long time. I attended school here from Elementary to graduating from Chippewa Valley. I did my student teaching at Ojibwa Elementary and at Dakota High School in the CLP ( creative learning program). I also long term subbed in a resource room at Clinton Valley Elementary. My first year, I was lucky to teach CLP at Shawnee Elementary, and really enjoyed my time there. I have been teaching in the CLP program at Miami for the past 9 years. Here at Miami I am also involved in Science Olympiad and the Green Team. I can’t wait to work with your child and really help them to meet their potential.
I am also very lucky to be involved with a wonderful non profit. I currently serve on the Board of Directors for Ben's Encore, a non profit that helps provide opportunities to aspiring musicians in the metro Detroit area.I graduated from Wayne State University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Special Education, and had earned a national academic scholarship from Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority where I served as President of my chapter. I love to spend my free time traveling, enjoying photography, and spending time with my friends and family. I am very blessed to be married to my husband who teaches at University of Liggett. We currently live in Grosse Pointe Woods with our son Elliott (5) , our daughter Phoebe(3), and our two cats. We love to travel near and far! I am so excited to be blessed with the opportunity to teach, and love learning new things everyday!
