Our classroom is very lucky to have four wonderful paraprofessionals. Mrs. Jennifer and Mrs. Sarah are our classroom paraprofessionals. Mrs. Theresa and Mrs. Laura are one on one aide for two of the students.
I am so lucky to have these ladies as part of our team. They assist with classroom lessons, provide help with students behaviors, work on classroom tasks, and so much more! They help to keep the classroom running smoothly while crating a positive learning environment for all. Learn more about them below. |
Mrs. JenniferHello,
My name is Jennifer Mileham. My husband Don and I have a beautiful daughter, Izabella, two cats, Romeo and Juliet, and one dog, Calliope! My daughter was a student at Miami, she is now attending University Liggett. I started here in 2014 after many years of volunteering. I was amazed by the amount of love and support that is found at this wonderful school. I am thankful for the opportunity to work in a nurturing, and loving environment. When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy being outdoors, and spending time with my family. I also love a good book and a cup of coffee. I look forward to getting to know all of you this year! |
Mrs. SarahHi, I’m Mrs. Sarah. I’m one of the awesome classroom paraprofessionals in the amazing Mrs. Hemler’s class 🙂. My husband Ben and I are proud parents of our three kids Ben, Justice and Kathleen (aka Kat). Justice and Kat are students at Miami and my son Ben attends Wyandot. I started working at Miami in 2016-2017 school year as a lunchroom mom. The following year I was a one-on-one in the upper El at Miami. Then came to Mrs. Hemler’s in 2019. I love my job and these amazing kids I have the pleasure of spending the day with.
On my off days I’m at the dojo for karate, drinking coffee, camping (when it’s nice 😁), watching movies or spending time with my kids. |
Mrs. TheresaMy name is Theresa Herrod. I am married with 2 boys ages 20 and 11. I have a 1 year old dog named Piper. I have lived in Clinton Twp my whole life and love it here. I have worked for Chippewa Valley Schools for 6 years and all 6 years here at Miami Elementary. I started off in the lunchroom and am now a One on One paraprofessional in Mrs. Hemlers class. I thoroughly enjoy working with children and learning about each one of them.
I love to spend my down time with my boys, gardening, being outside, walks in the park and often times we walk to Tim Hortons 😉. I'm grateful to be able to get to know your children and help further their education. |
